The Days of Noah

September 07, 20243 min read

When is it too late to believe?

In the days of Noah, no one believed in God.

No one wanted to know about God.

Everyone fought to reject the idea of God.

The only thing people cared about was their own lives and what they could make of them.

They Did Not Understand

Then the flood came.

At first, everything seemed normal.  After all, it was only rain.

No one knew it would rain for 40 days straight, across the world, in a torrential downpour.

No one knew it was the end of all life.

They did not understand the ramification of their life’s choices.

Until it was too late.

They Perished

The world started over with only 8 people.

That was not a problem, because God originally started the world with only 2 people.

Two by two all life had entered the ark.

And now, two by two they would repopulate the earth.

Male and female.

Each species, man and animal, every bird and creepy crawling creature.

Every species that had ever lived would fill the earth again because they came through safely on the ark.

But not the rest because they perished.

The Presence of Sin

Millenia have passed.

Here we are again.

The world is filled with people and animals, every bird and creepy crawling creature.

And once again, the presence of sin.

People Don't Want to Hear

God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to deal with sin.

With His life, He set in heaven a door for all who choose to enter.

It is the only way to enter heaven. His word says it.

But once again, people don't want to hear it.

The Only Thing People Care About

Once again, the masses do not believe in God or His Son, Jesus Christ.

Once again, no one wants to know about the true God or the path He created for us to enter heaven.

Once again, people are fighting to reject the idea of God.

And once again, the only thing people care about is their own life and what they can make of it.

Hell On Earth

We are at the end of life as we know it.

The next stop on God’s agenda is the tribulation.

It is called tribulation for a reason.

The tribulation will be hell on earth.

Cling to Him

Since God promised with a rainbow that He would never flood the earth again, it will be a 3 ½ year period of trial for those who have once again rejected God and His Son.

People are slow to learn.

God is going to shake the earth and all it contains to find those who truly love Him and believe in Him.

God does not tell us in vain to cling to Him.

It Will Be Worth It

The good news is that His reward is with Him.

Although people will suffer in this life, once this life is over, they will never suffer again.

If they believe in Jesus Christ and what He did on the cross.

And if they give their lives to Him and walk with Him through the fire of this life to the other side.

It will not be easy, but it will be worth it.

Carried Safely Away

Turn back to God and His Son, Jesus Christ.

You live in a world that has been trying to erase the existence of God for a long time.

But God cannot be erased.

Do not be carried away with the flood of people who reject God and His desire for them.

Those who fight for their lives without God will not understand until the end comes.

Like the days of Noah, when the ark was carried safely away without them.

When is it too late to believe? That should be obvious, but I will say it for the sake of clarity.

When we have taken our final breath and the light of this life is gone.
